Driver Licensing Support Specialist

Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay Rate: $16.70/hour

About the Role

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Driver Licensing Support Specialists. In this role, you will assist customers with inquiries related to driver licensing, review documentation, and provide guidance on licensing policies and procedures. You’ll be part of a statewide initiative to modernize the license issuance process and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities

+ Respond to inbound calls and provide accurate, courteous assistance regarding driver licensing services

+ Review and analyze secure documents and driving records

+ Guide applicants through licensing processes including REAL ID, Commercial Driver License (CDL), and other specific applications

+ Document interactions and maintain accurate records

+ Participate in virtual meetings and training sessions

+ Compile reports and support project-related activities

+ Assist with onboarding and training of new team members

Required Skills & Qualifications

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)

+ Excellent organizational and time management abilities

+ Customer service experience, both internal and external

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

+ High level of professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail

+ Ability to interpret driver history records and licensing policies

+ Must be able to consent to compliance and onboarding procedures

Preferred Qualifications

+ Associate or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience

+ Experience in document verification or regulatory compliance

+ Familiarity with licensing systems or government service platforms

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lexington, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.70 - $16.70/hr.
