Description
+ Sustainment of Existing Applications: Ensure the continued operational availability, security posture, and functional relevance of existing USUHS custom ServiceNow scoped applications through proactive monitoring, timely issue resolution, and efficient implementation of approved enhancements and bug fixes. Deliver stable and reliable application performance meeting user needs.
+ New Application Delivery: Deliver new, fully functional, tested, and documented ServiceNow scoped applications designed to automate and optimize specific USUHS operational processes. Successfully translate defined user requirements into robust, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions deployed within agreed-upon timelines.
+ Requirements Translation & Solution Design: Produce clear, comprehensive functional and technical design specifications for new applications and significant enhancements. Effectively translate stakeholder requirements and process analysis into actionable development plans that leverage ServiceNow capabilities optimally and align with USUHS objectives.
+ Secure & Compliant Development: Implement all application code, configurations (including Flow Designer, UI Builder, forms, tables, notifications), and integrations adhering strictly to ServiceNow best practices for scoped application development, platform security principles, and relevant DoD standards. Deliver secure and maintainable application components.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Configuration of ServiceNow's ITSM service catalog
+ Create custom widgets as needed
+ Expert level understanding of ServiceNow Platform & its capabilities are required.
+ Understand the business needs and the needs to standardize processes and build this into the design. and being able to transform customer requirements into a high-level (architectural) solution or supporting model.
+ Good understanding of service-oriented architecture, software application architecture, and the ability to consult with
+ Experience with web technologies JavaScript, ES5+, HTML, CSS/SCSS, & SQL. Experience in one or more JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS or React is a plus.
+ Knowledge of web-based protocols and standards (Web services, SOAP, REST, WSDL, XML);
+ Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations.
Education and Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (required); Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
+ Minimum of 3–6 years of experience in ServiceNow
Certifications:
+ Security+ (preferred) - can be obtained within 6 months
+ ServiceNow Application Developer (CAD) - preferred can be obtained within 6 months

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $52.89/hr.
