    Field Service Technician - Atlanta ,GA

     

    About the Role

     

    We-re looking for a skilled Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team at Rehrig Pacific Company. In this role, you-ll manage the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of our cutting-edge Direct-to-Store Delivery (DSD) and Supply Chain Technology solutions, including our Vision Object Recognition (VOR) Ecosystem and Material Handling Solutions.

     

    You-ll serve as the face of Rehrig Pacific in the field, providing exceptional on-site service and support to our customers, while collaborating closely with our Quality, Procurement, and New Product Development teams to drive continuous improvement.

     

    What You-ll Do

    Onsite Customer Support

    + Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on assigned equipment.

    + Support customer fleet check-ins and warranty service requests.

    + Deliver exceptional, professional customer service at every interaction.

    + Assist with VOR installations and technology implementations.

    + Partner with the Implementation & Service Team on retrofit or replacement projects.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    + Complete service reports and documentation for billing and warranty processes.

    + Maintain safety stock inventory and coordinate replenishment with the purchasing team.

    + Provide field insights and feedback to help improve product performance and installation processes.

    What You-ll Bring

    + Bachelor-s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Mechanical Technology, or a related field.

    + 5+ years of experience as a Material Handling Field Service Technician (preferred).

    + Solid understanding of electrical and hydraulic schematics.

    + Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    + Proven ability to learn new products quickly and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

    + Strong accountability and multitasking skills; able to manage multiple projects at once.

    + Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and travel approximately 70% of the time (company vehicle provided).
