    Description

    The Associate, CRM Execution will play a key role in the execution of retention marketing strategies across several channels (email, SMS, and in-browser messaging), focusing on driving customer engagement and retention through targeted campaigns. The ideal candidate is passionate about email/SMS marketing and CRM systems, and has a strong understanding of customer journey touchpoints. As part of an integrated CRM team, this role will support a cluster of assigned brands and report to the CRM Strategist for that same cluster.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in managing the creation and deployment of day-to-day email & SMS campaigns, including broadcast and trigger programs (ie: welcome series, promotional offers, and re-engagement campaigns).

    • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of email campaigns to segmented audiences.

    • Maintain and segment customer lists within the CRM platform to ensure that emails are sent to the right audience.

    • Support the planning and execution of automated email flows, ensuring content is aligned with business objectives and customer needs.

    • Assist with maintaining customer data integrity and ensuring compliance with GDPR and other data privacy regulations.

    • Track and report on the performance of email campaigns, including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and other key metrics.

    • Work with the team to optimize campaigns based on data and insights, testing subject lines, creative, and send times for better performance.

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Creative, Product, and Customer Service) to ensure that email content aligns with product launches, promotions, and overall marketing strategies.

    • Assist with coordination of seasonal or ad-hoc campaigns to ensure smooth execution.

    • Support A/B testing efforts to continuously improve email performance and optimize customer experiences.

    • Provide insights on customer behavior trends and suggest improvements to messaging, design, and frequency.

    • Help develop strategies for customer retention through personalized email content and segmentation strategies that drive long-term loyalty.

    • Work with the team to increase customer lifetime value by implementing targeted programs like win-back campaigns, birthday emails, and re-engagement strategies.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • 2 years of experience in CRM or email marketing, preferably in a direct-to-consumer or e-commerce environment.

    • Familiarity with email design best practices and knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.

    • Hands on keyboard experience with campaign setup and execution within ESPs like Braze or similar is a plus.

    • Strong attention to detail with a passion for data analysis and optimization.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for compelling copywriting.

    • Excellent time-management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.

    • Experience with customer segmentation and lifecycle marketing.

    • Knowledge of marketing automation tools and strategies.

    • Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics or similar.
