About the role
As a Product Owner, you will drive delivery of AI knowledge agents and AI knowledge features that enhance advised and managed investing offerings in wealth management. You’ll coordinate efforts across cross‑functional partners and Agile Scrum teams to build and execute a product roadmap, manage the product lifecycle end‑to‑end, and deliver measurable outcomes in a matrixed environment.
In this role, you will
+ **Own and prioritize the backlog** for Agentic AI capabilities and knowledge features, defining epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria that improve advisor productivity and client experience.
+ **Lead product discovery and integrations** with internal and third‑party tools to create a holistic, efficient representative desktop for wealth management.
+ **Build and continuously evolve the roadmap** ; align release plans with Scrum teams and partner lines of business to manage dependencies and deliver value iteratively.
+ **Leverage data and user insights** to design processes and interactions; set success metrics (adoption, engagement, time‑to‑information) and track outcomes.
+ **Partner with UX, technology leads, and architects** to design scalable agent orchestration and enforce governance, security, and compliance standards appropriate to financial services.
Work model

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a position requires 3-4 days a week in a client office in Washington, DC. What you must have to be considered
+ 5+ years in Product Ownership/Product Management delivering AI products from discovery through release; hands‑on with Agentic AI concepts and orchestration.
+ Proven experience shipping AI product delivery in Agile/Scrum environments; expert backlog management, story writing, and release planning.
+ Success integrating internal and third‑party systems into unified advisor/representative desktops (or similar complex enterprise workflows).
+ Strong stakeholder management across a matrixed organization; bias for action, detail orientation, and data‑driven decision making.
+ Familiarity with wealth management or regulated financial services environments.
These will help you succeed
+ Experience with LLM‑based systems, RAG/knowledge management, tool/function calling, agent frameworks, and Responsible AI guardrails.
+ Product analytics/telemetry (e.g., Amplitude/Mixpanel/Adobe), A/B testing, and outcome measurement.
+ Certifications: CSPO/PSPO, SAFe POPM (or equivalent).
+ Bachelor’s degree in STEM/Business (Master’s a plus).
+ Exceptional collaboration with UX and architecture to design scalable, compliant AI solutions.

Compensation
+ $80,000 - $90,000 base salary
• This position is eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans
