    As an **_Assembler - Class 2_** here at **Honeywell** , you will play a vital role in the assembly of conveyor systems and palletizers, ensuring that products meet quality standards and are delivered on time. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will contribute to the overall success of our operations.

     

    You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and you’ll work out of our St. Louis, MO location on an On-site work schedule.

     

    In this role, you will impact the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing processes, helping to produce high-quality conveyor and palletizer systems that meet customer expectations.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assemble conveyor systems and palletizers according to blueprints and schematics.

    • Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet required standards.

    • Utilize hand tools and tape measures to accurately assemble components.

    • Collaborate with team members to improve assembly processes and efficiency.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Demonstrated ability to follow direction, read blueprints and schematics.

    + Set up and change over equipment to operate various assemblies or features.

    + Identify and utilize appropriate materials, plumb or pipe pneumatics and hydraulic lines.

    + Affix specified motors and gear boxes to drive components.

    + Test each assembly to ensure proper fit and function.

    + Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools.

    + Accurately track and log assembly time sheets for each build.

    + Properly identify and document QMS and department procedure.

    + Maintain work area for cleanliness.

    + Adherence to all safety standards and plant rules.

    + Transfer assembly to appropriate department for next step in production.

    + Utilize tape measures, calipers, squares, micrometers, and protractors.

    + General maintenance of tools and equipment.

    + Safe operation of the forklift, scissor lift and all other lift assist and tools.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    US Person Requirements:

    YOU MUST HAVE

    • 1 year of experience in assembly or manufacturing environments, specifically with conveyor systems and palletizers.

    • Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.

    • Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills.

    • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.

    • Familiarity with hand tools and tape measures.

    • Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing setting.
