Supervisor, Behavioral Health Therapy

The Western Behavioral Health Pediatric Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) program specializes in treating patients aged 5 to 18. The clinic offers both an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and outpatient therapy (OP) tracks. The primary aim of the program is to reduce the psychiatric symptoms associated with OCD, which helps improve daily functioning at home, in school, and within the community.
The Behavioral Health Therapy Supervisor is responsible for providing both administrative and clinical oversight for the program. This position works Monday through Friday, daylight hours may vary. There is free parking on site.
Responsibilities:
* Oversight and Assessments: Conduct and document assessments, create treatment plans, and assess patient needs for outpatient and partial hospitalization programs. Participate in treatment team meetings, provide therapy, and complete clinical documentation on the same day.
* Service Coordination: Provide clinical information to ensure service authorization, review cases with the Director, and refer patients to other care levels or community services as needed.
* Record Keeping: Maintain daily clinical productivity records and participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
* Team Management: Direct and assign work to behavioral health therapists, perform annual reviews, enforce policies, and support recruitment and admission processes.
* Operational Support: Coordinate treatment team meetings, supervise daily clinical activities, and manage clinician caseloads and treatment plans.
* Issue Management: Meet regularly with the Director to review cases, clinical problems, and staff issues.
* Leadership: Occasionally lead the program in the Director's absence, ensuring patient care and safety.
* Training and Supervision: Collaborate on training needs assessments, provide staff training, and supervise therapists to ensure evidence-based treatment.
* Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned, adhering to system-wide competencies and behaviors.
* Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education in school counseling, or related field required.
* Five years of clinical experience diagnosing and treating behavioral and psychiatric conditions required.
* Two years of demonstrated progressive leadership experience required.
* Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and assessment process, as well as application of current version of the DSM required.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) or Doctorate in Psychology required.
* Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
* Clinical Social Worker (CSW) OR Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist OR Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
* Comprehensive Crisis Management (CCMC)
* Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
* Act 33 with renewal
* Act 34 with renewal
* Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
