As a **SeniorDesign Engineer Manager** , you'll design and develop high-performance connectivity solutions, including topology modeling, capacity planning, and protocol configurations (e.g., BGP, OSPF) for government networks to support high-bandwidth, low-latency requirements. You'll plan network expansions and upgrades, conducting site surveys, traffic analysis, and feasibility studies to integrate on-premises, cloud, and SD-WAN technologies seamlessly. You will manage a team of fully capable and motivated engineers and lead the team through each sprint and iteration of deliverables. Provides EDS team management for the
engineering and technical services required to design, model, test, pilot, and deliver the system and infrastructure solutions for IT, voice, video, data, automation, cloud, Artificial Intelligence
(AI), and other IT service requirements for the enterprise.

The successful candidate must be located within 50 miles of Vicksburg, MS.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
+ CISCO CCIE certification or equivalent engineering certification
+ 8 years of experience in network planning and design, with hands-on expertise in high-performance connectivity solutions for government or large enterprise networks
+ Proven ability to develop scalable plans for hybrid environments, including routing/switching and security integrations
+ Active DoD Secret Clearance (must be current and transferable)
+ Strong knowledge of federal network standards (e.g., NIST 800-53, DISA guidelines) and ITIL practices for service design and transition
+ Proficiency in network planning tools (e.g., Cisco Modeling Labs, NetSim) and performance modeling
+ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills for technical collaboration in regulated settings
+ Applies extensive expertise, and has full knowledge of other related disciplines, with the ability to exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment

+ Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification
+ Experience supporting DoD or large federal networks, including WAN planning and edge device integrations in distributed environments
+ ITIL 4 Foundation or higher certification, with emphasis on infrastructure management
+ Background in cloud networking (e.g., AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute) and automation scripting (e.g., Python)
+ Master's degree in a relevant field or additional certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network , CISSP)
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $120000 - $204000
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
