Job Description
-Shall perform advanced level planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise level GIS associated geospatial databases, network equipment, and software tools and applicants, have eight years of progressive GIS server experience
-Perform at high/expert intelligence systems architecture design and evaluation
-Be proficient in administering and deploying enterprise level open source and commercial off the shelf (COTS) GIS server equipment in support of intelligence organizations.

Skills and Requirements
Technical Skills:
Database Administration:
-Proficiency in managing relational database systems, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Cloud Database Familiarity:
-Experience with cloud-based database solutions and managed services.
Performance Optimization:
-Ability to tune queries, monitor resource utilization, and resolve performance bottlenecks.
Practical Experience:
-Server Deployment: Experience deploying and configuring server equipment and SQL instances.
-Incident Handling: Ability to manage major incidents, troubleshoot issues, and resolve critical database problems.
-Backup Strategies: Explain how they handle backups, retention policies, and disaster recovery scenarios.
-Database Maintenance: Describe their approach to index maintenance, statistics updates, and database consistency checks.
-8 years of IT experience total
SQL Scripting:
-They should be able to write and edit SQL scripts from scratch. This skill is crucial for creating custom queries, stored procedures, and automation tasks.
Certs: Security Plus is needed
