    **Schedule:** Full Time

    **Shift** : Monday Friday; 8:00am 5:00pm and if coverage is needed for any 12-hour shifts, this will be rearranged for that week

    **Location:** Home location is: 2207 S Clear Creek, however, depending on coverage needs they will work anywhere from Lampasas, Cove, Killeen, Harker Heights

    The role you'll contribute:

    Assists with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a provider (Physician or Advanced Practice Provider).

    The value you'll bring to the team:

    + Assists with treatments ordered by provider as supervised by provider or registered nurse. Performs select clinical duties.

    + Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' charts. Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.

    + Performs basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records, and filing.

    + Performs basic materials management functions to include ordering and stocking of supplies. Assists with maintaining a clean and orderly environment.

    + May document the provider's encounter with patients. Lists all proper diagnoses and symptoms, as well as follow-up instructions and prescriptions, as indicated by the provider. Transcribes patient orders including, but not limited to, laboratory tests, radiology tests and medications.

    The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

    Minimum qualifications:

    + High School Diploma or equivalent

    + 2 year of related work experience

    + Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)

    + Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)-AAMA

    + or

    + National Healthcareer Association (NHA)

    + or

    + American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)

    + or

    + National Center for Competency Testing-Medical Asst (NCMA)

    + or

    + National Association of Health Professionals (NAHP)
