    Description

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    **SAIC** is seeking an **ENGINEERING TECH III** to support the **US Navy** on the **MK 48 Heavyweight Torpedo Production Team** in **Bedford, IN** .

    KEY RESPONSIBITLITES:

    + Works closely with engineers to assemble and test MK-48 AB/TC’s and Fuel Tank sections.

    + Supporting engineers in design, development, and testing of new products and systems.

    + Provides technical support across multiple disciplines.

    + Identifying and resolving technical problems with equipment, components.

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS:

    + HS/GED and four (4) years’ experience.

    + Experience with relevant tools and equipment.

    + Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.

    + Forklift operation experience.

    + Good communication skills.

    + Capable of building and maintaining good customer relationships.

    + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

    + Candidate must be a US Citizen.

    + Must be able to obtain a Full DoD Secret Security Clearance.
