    Equipment Maintenance Technician – Saxonburg, PA

    PURPOSE

    This position is responsible for providing basic designer/technician support within a single technical discipline.

     

    Our Saxonburg, PA location operates on a Rotating Shift schedule, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off then 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on rotating. 36 hours 1 week, 48 hours the other. so that means that there are 8 hours of OT every other week.     YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Proficient in the technical skills and knowledge necessary to function in a single technical discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, QA, V&V, etc.);

    + Possesses the analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve basic technical problems;

    + Works under supervision and collaborates with engineers and higher-level technical staff to conduct and document identified technical activities;

    + Training and Development

    + May train and mentor other associate technicians/designers;

    + May coordinate some training activities for immediate department/program.

    WHO YOU ARE

    Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    + High School Degree/GED;

    + Possesses the analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve basic technical problems;

    + Conducts & documents technical activities typically identified by more experienced staff.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    + Associate's Degree - Preferred or 2-year trade/military school;

    + 3 years designing/drafting experience.

     

    Employees can expect to be paid an hourly wage of $25.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive compensation (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc..

     

    This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
