Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
+ Responsible for overall service delivery and operations of programming functions for multiple channels within respective region
+ Create, validate, and distribute program grids fore primary and digital channels
+ Monitor program changes and obtain network clearances as necessary
+ Proactively monitor and track stations’ existing and future programming
+ Assist with planning resources and workloads within the station/region, addressing peak times and special high-profile events
+ Provide local program contingencies based on network operating conditions for live programs
+ Ability to lead and manage Programming staff as well as support day to day activities
+ Maintain and update quarterly and annual FCC Children’s Programming reports
+ Ability to support and collaborate with teammates and work with various departments within stations that require involvement from Programming Operations
+ Minimum 2 years of experience in Programming or Traffic Operations
+ Bachelors degree in media or related field, or equivalent work experience
+ Superior management capabilities and ability to coach, mentor and train a team
+ Strong verbal & written communication skills
+ Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays; flexible to meet business needs
+ Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

Desired Characteristics
+ Knowledge of basic Microsoft Applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
+ Knowledge of Wide Orbit Traffic and Compass
+ Superior organizational skills - must possess the ability to manage multiple priorities with confidence and balance
+ Strong analytical skills: Streamline, analyze, and present data to assist with management & divisional reporting and assist with strategic recommendations
+ Excellent computer skills and willingness to regularly maintain and update systems
Fully Remote: This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non-NBCUniversal worksite, most commonly an employee’s residence.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
