Position Summary
Provides technical support, expertise and guidance on applications and hardware. Oversees the design, development, implementation, documentation and maintenance of program(s), application(s) and/or system(s), ensuring that business needs and goals are met.
Job Responsibilities
+ Oversees the implementation of new programs, modifications or enhancements to existing systems; responsible for quality control and ensuring the performance, integrity and reliability of programs/systems.
+ Provides administrative systems analysis and operations support and ensures the overall proper operation of both hardware and software.
+ Provides education to department personnel on workflow between various applications.
+ Supports the inter-networking requirements of end users and department(s) for seamless integration of applications and data from a variety of systems and platforms.
+ In conjunction with ITS, assists with/responsible for the planning, purchase, and maintenance of web servers, appliances, software, and infrastructure.
+ Maintains effective communication with department personnel, NYPH-IS, WCM-ITS, and POIS to ensure effective operations.
Education
+ Bachelor's Degree in related field
Experience
Three to five years of previous work related experience.Knowledge of client/server support, PC hardware and software installation, troubleshooting, and proficiency with computers.
