Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
+ Provides educational activities and support to promote language, social, and adaptive behavior development.
+ Support will include activity, preparation, set-up and clean-up as well as classroom environmental set-up.
+ Monitors child activity and behavior within the classroom.
+ Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
+ High School Diploma/GED.
+ Priority will be given to completion of one year of college coursework toward a degree in early childhood education, special education, psychology, human development, or related field.
+ May pursue Early Childhood Education degree/credential/certificate within first year of hire.
+ Must be at least 18 years old, have reliable transportation and pass a background check.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
+ At least one year of experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities.
+ Knowledge of Frog Street Curriculum is preferred but not required.
