Responsibilities

As a **Mechanical Maintenance Technician** , you’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving complex mechanical and electrical systems to ensure safe, reliable production.

Key duties include:

• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on heavy industrial machinery

• Troubleshoot and repair CNC controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, and complex systems

• Conduct preventive maintenance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement

• Utilize MIG welding, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation in daily tasks

• Diagnose and repair issues with semi-automatic equipment (e.g., ROSIE, Blaster, Sigma Press, Vertical Lathe)

• Collaborate across departments to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime

• Guide and mentor junior team members (team lead responsibilities, not direct supervision)

• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 10+ years of experience in industrial mechanical and electrical maintenance (15+ years preferred)

• Strong background in **CNC systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC controls, and MIG welding**

• Experience in **heavy industrial or automotive manufacturing environments**

• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and service manuals

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time management skills

• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work overtime as needed

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading or mentoring maintenance personnel

• Familiarity with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) or Lean Manufacturing practices

• Strong organizational and documentation skills

• Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic safety controls

Schedule

• **2nd Shift:** Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–2:30 AM

• **Overtime:** Fridays and weekends as needed
