    What you'll be doing

     

    The Senior Manager, Digital Marketing Strategy is accountable for bringing CIBC’s brand to life in the US Region and driving outcomes for our business partner marketing (business units).

     

    Reporting to the Sr. Director, US Brand, Marketing and Sponsorships, the Senior Manager develops a strategic roadmap to deliver best in class digital campaigns and a creative wrapper/platform to support the growth of the business through our digital and mobile efforts. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, digital innovation, and customer experience. The Senior Manager will play a key part in shaping how we scale our digital ecosystem, deepen client engagement, and expand market share during a critical stage of growth. The role will advance CIBC’s Purpose-driven culture and deliver on our client commitments through every decision and action related to our US Brand and Marketing. In-depth knowledge and exposure to the US marketplace will be a critical to the success of this role

    How you'll succeed

    + **Digital Strategy :** Define, own and evolve the digital strategy to grow adoption, engagement, and revenue through our connected banking platforms. Identify opportunities to integrate new products and services into the digital ecosystem. Conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking and trend scanning to inform strategy.

    + **Marketing and Campaign Development:** Develop creative digital campaigns, particularly for mid and low funnel assets, to drive adoption, conversion and deeper engagement. Lead marketing teams and supporting units on alignment of messaging, creative and targeted strategies with digital growth goals

    + **Execution and Delivery:** Translate strategic goals into actionable initiatives, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes. Partner with product, technology, marketing, operations teams to deliver digital initiatives on time and within scope. Ensure client experience remains seamless across private banking and digital channels. Champion client-centric design thinking in all digital strategies

    + **Leadership and Influence :** Act as thought partner to senior executives on digital transformation topics. Provide leadership across cross-functional teams, aligning diverse stakeholders toward shared digital growth goals.

    + **Compliance / Operations** : Working knowledge of financial services regulatory requirements and first line risk management responsibilities.

Completing all annual Corporate Mandatory Training and Testing modules, as well as any additional business-specific modules, as required and employing the learnings in daily activities and undertakings.

    Who you are

    + **You can demonstrate 7+ years of experience in** digital marketing and digital strategy. You have leadership capabilities to develop accountability for delivering KPI and measuring ROI.

    + **You have experience** working in the US marketplace and proven success developing and executing digital growth strategies in a regulated industry (banking/financial services preferred).

    + **You have a strong understanding of** mobile platforms, digital ecosystems, and client engagement drivers.

    At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $135,000 - $160,000 for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
