    Responsibilities

    Supervise the daily activities of assigned area(s).

     

    + Identify observations or trends having a negative impact on the campus and assist with the development of action plans.

    + Conduct follow-up investigations on incident reports and analyze incidents and conditions.

    + Monitor associate adherence to policies and procedures.

    + Oversee the training and development of staff.

    + Develop, coordinate and implement shift schedules to ensure proper security coverage and protection of the Hospital.

    + Assist with preparing security budgets.

    + Maintains expenses within budget guidelines.

    + Assist manager with daily operation of the department including, interviewing, disciplinary actions, staff management and contract management.

    + Coordinate emergency drills.

    Requirements

    Licensure/Certification/Registration:

    + Wisconsin Concealed Weapons License (CCW) to be obtained within 90 days (3 months) of hire date or job transfer date required.

    + Drivers License credentialed from the Wisconsin Department of Motor Vehicles obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

    One or more of the following are preferred:

    + BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

    + Drivers License credentialed from the Wisconsin Department of Motor Vehicles.

    + Law Enforcement.

    + Management of Aggressive Behavior credentialed from the Management of Aggressive Behavior Training International, Inc..

    + Security Professional.

    Education:

    + High School diploma equivalency and 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree and 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
