    The Scientist, Clinical Laboratory Supervisor is critical to the overall performance, operations and compliance of the laboratory at Fairbanks Urology. This position interacts with all the various facets of the company: team members, outside medical facilities, vendors and providers. They are responsible for performing all functions of chemistry and complete blood count specimen collection, processing and reporting. They are also responsible for maintaining lab certifications, logs, records and documentation as needed for compliance, among other duties. They will have one direct report in the lab.

     

    This is a full-time opportunity but hours during the week are flexible, based on various factors. More will be discussed during an interview.

    _Responsibilities_

    + Perform all functions of chemistry and complete blood count specimen collection, processing, and reporting.

    + Perform routine maintenance of assigned instrumentation.

    + Manage lab supply and reagent inventory.

    + Troubleshoot instrumentation and assay problems.

    + Evaluate quality controls for problems.
