And our Pricing & Revenue Management team is providing fuel for that journey by ensuring that we maximize our ticket revenue on every single flight across our network – both domestically and internationally – while giving our customers various product offerings for their travel. By analyzing market trends and forecasting consumer demand, this team works hard to ensure we are selling the right number of tickets at the right price to optimize our revenue and run a profitable airline.

     

    Job overview and responsibilities

     

    The Revenue Business Intelligence (RBI) Data Management Senior Manager is responsible for managing and mentoring a team of RBI data developers in support of enhancing and maintaining the prm.ual.com webpage, which provides reports, applications and tools used by Revenue Management, Current Revenue Control, Corporate Support Center, Flight Recovery Center, and other teams. They allocate and monitor work activities, provide coaching, set priorities and goals for their team and are responsible for achieving successful results.

     

    + Recruit, manage and mentor a team of 2-4 developers in the day to day aspects of technical delivery

    + Develop and maintain relationships with business and information technology partners

    + Continuously balance and adjust team priorities to meet both short and long term deliverable goals

    + Perform hands-on design, development and support of Pricing and Revenue Management databases

    + Stay up to date on new technology and how it can be applied to solve business problems

    Qualifications

    What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

    + Bachelor's degree

    + 7+ years of professional experience in database design, development, and support

    + Knowledge of Pricing and Revenue Management

    + Ability to program in some/most of the following: C#, JavaScript, ASP.NET, MVC, HTML, CSS, AJAX, and SQL

    + Knowledge of agile development methodology

    + Ability to work effectively in a large cross-functional team

    + Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and aggressive environment

    + Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

    + Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

    + Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

    What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

    + Computer Science or Information Systems

    + Ability to work with SQL Server Integration and Analysis Services

     

    The base pay range for this role is $124,735.00 to $162,388.00.

     

    The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
