    Dixon Quick Coupling, a proud division of The Dixon Group is seeking an experienced 1st shift Assembly Supervisor to lead the daily activities of our assembly department. In this role, you will be a critical leader responsible for ensuring quality, safety, and productivity. You will be a hands-on coach, training new and existing employees, and driving a culture of continuous improvement. You will be the key to your team's success, helping to plan and assign work, solve problems, and champion our company policies and values.

    • What You'll Do:

    + Lead & Inspire: Kick off each shift with team huddles to set clear goals, celebrate wins, and tackle challenges together.

    + Be a Coach & Mentor: Actively coach your team members, audit processes, and provide the training and support they need to succeed and grow.

    + Drive Improvement: Champion continuous improvement by working with your team to find smarter, safer, and more efficient ways to work. You'll implement solutions and make sure they stick.

    + Own Your Zone: Master our internal operating system (the Dixon MOS) and use it as a tool to guide your team in safety, quality, and production best practices.

    + Manage Performance: Support your team's development through timely, constructive performance reviews and regular feedback.

    + Uphold Our Standards: Promote and follow standard work to guarantee quality and safety in every product we make.

    + Lead by Example: Roll up your sleeves and demonstrate a daily commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

    What We're Looking For:

    + Required: A high school diploma or equivalent.

    + Required: Proven experience as a supervisor, team lead, or mentor (manufacturing or assembly experience is a huge plus!).

    + Preferred: An Associate's or Bachelor's degree.

    + Tech-Savvy: Strong computer skills to track performance, manage schedules, and communicate with the team.

    + Organized: The ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment without breaking a sweat.

    + A Great Communicator: You can clearly explain goals, give constructive feedback, and (most importantly) listen to your team's ideas.
