Schedule: 30 hours per week, Nights
+ Week 1: Sunday 11p-9a, Thursday 11p-9a, Friday 9p-7a
+ Week 2: Monday 11p-9a, Friday 9p-7a, Saturday 9p-7a
+ **Training:** The first two weeks of training are M-F, 8a-430pm **must** be able to attend this*

What you will do:
+ Provide patient focused customer service.
+ Perform outpatient & / or inpatient registration & insurance verification functions;
+ Collect patient financial liability payments & ensures that patients meet financial requirements including Medicare medical necessity, payer pre-certifications & referrals.
+ Provide general information to hospital users, patients, families & physician offices
What you will need:
+ 1 year customer service experience, required
+ HS Diploma or equivalent required
+ Data entry skills (50 to 60 keystrokes per minute)
+ Basic computer skills
+ HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA required within one (1) year of hire.
+ Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
+ Interpersonal skills to work with internal and external customers.
+ Accuracy and attentiveness to detail and time management skills.
Nice to have:
+ Medical terminology
+ Knowledge of diagnostic & procedural coding Insurance verification with the ability to explain benefits, secure necessary authorizations
