Our client, a government enterprise supporting the judicial system, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Technical Support Engineer to join their team. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be part of the IT support department supporting a wide network of court-related operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Technical Support Engineer

**Location:** Madison, WI

+ Must be able to travel throughout the **State of Wisconsin** , including **overnight stays** as needed.

+ A **valid Wisconsin driver’s license** is required.

+ **Mileage reimbursement** will be provided at **$0.51 per mile** for travel from the employee’s normal place of work to the off-site location and for the return trip, if a **personal vehicle** is used.

What's the Job?

+ Provide maintenance and support for Wisconsin Court System software and hardware.

+ Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware and software across multiple locations throughout Wisconsin.

+ Deliver technical customer support to court system employees and resolve technical issues efficiently.

+ Perform field service tasks such as hardware upgrades and troubleshooting to ensure system reliability.

+ Respond promptly to unplanned events like system failures or natural disasters affecting production systems.

What's Needed?

+ Minimum of 2 years' experience in an enterprise IT environment.

+ Proven ability to install, configure, repair, and maintain computer hardware and peripherals.

+ Excellent customer service skills with strong communication and logical thinking abilities.

+ Knowledge of computer operating systems, hardware, and local and wide area networking principles.

+ Associate’s Degree in computer science, computer technician, or a related field.
