CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking aProject Manager – Fire Protectionto join ourFire Protection Services Teamin Birmingham or Cullman, AL. This is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in cutting-edge solutions that address the most challenging fire risks for industrial, commercial, and design-build projects.

What You'll Do:

+ Oversee every phase of fire protection projects, from planning to design and implementation, ensuring quality and efficiency at every step

+ Build and nurture client partnerships, understanding their needs and delivering creative, cost-effective solutions for fire sprinkler systems, alarms, suppression systems, and more

+ Manage contracts, purchase orders, project documentation, and daily correspondence with clients and subcontractors

+ Take charge of project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash management, while ensuring timely payments and accurate reporting

+ Lead monthly project review meetings, communicating progress and updates to clients, management, and project teams

+ Develop and implement health and safety plans, ensuring compliance with NFPA 72, AHJ standards, and regulatory requirements

+ Embrace a “seller/doer” mindset, actively developing new business opportunities and expanding services provided

What You Bring:

+ High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred

+ Minimum of 7 years of fire sprinkler experience; minimum of 4 years of project management experience required

+ NICET certification preferred

+ Proven ability to prepare proposals, project plans, authorizations, and closeout documents

+ Strong skills in project accounting, budgeting, and financial management

+ Experience interpreting client contracts and managing multiple projects simultaneously

+ Articulate communicator who adapts messaging for diverse audiences

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required; knowledge of Deltek Vision preferred

+ Ability to travel as needed

+ Consulting industry experience highly preferred

Salary Range:

$95,000 - $115,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
