This team works closely with the rest of our organization to help other teams achieve their goals. We are looking for a Receiving Clerk to join our team and support our company now and into the future.

    What You’ll Work On

     

    The Materials Delivery/Receiving Clerk is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery and receipt of materials to and from the company's warehouse. This includes coordinating with suppliers and carriers to schedule deliveries, inspecting incoming materials for quality and accuracy, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The Materials Delivery/Receiving Clerk will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized warehouse, and assisting with other warehouse duties as needed.

     

    You’ll Support Your Team by Performing the Following Key Tasks

     

    + Receive, inspect, and deliver product from our freight companies and purchase orders we receive from outside fabricators.

    + Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

    + Report variances in packing slip and what is on the Purchase Order.

    + Actively participate in continuous improvement (Kaizen) activities and training.

    + Perform all tasks as assigned by supervisor.

    + Work towards advancement to Inspection and Receiving Clerk responsibilities.

    + Maintain a clean receiving dock by using a forklift to move palletized items to their stocking location or moving other heavy item by lifting and using carts.

    + Process product received from our freight companies.

    + Report variances between packing slip and purchase order.

    + Actively participate in continuous improvement (Kaizen) activities and training.

    + Perform all tasks as assigned by supervisor.

     

    What We're Looking For

     

    + Previous delivery driver experience required.

    + Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferred.

    + Strong organizational and communication skills.

    + Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment.

    + Basic computer skills.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

    + Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

     

    Work Environment

     

    Light manufacturing environment.

    Physical Requirements

    Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 50 lbs. of equipment over short distances as needed during fulfilling job responsibilities.
