We are partnering up with an Electrical Contractor who is looking to hire an onsite, experienced Data Center PM for a Microsoft Data Center in Mt. Pleasant, WI.
Details:
+ Seeking onsite PM for Microsoft Data Center in Mt. Pleasant, Wisconsin. Will work the first month out of the office in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. Then mobilize to site.
+ Project is 18+ months, start ASAP
+ Must have experience working as a Data Center PM from an electrical or mechanical subcontractor and ability to manage $70M project.
+ Competitive hourly rate + per diem.. Working 2 weeks at 60 hours a week and 1 week of 50 hours a week. Time and half on any hours over 40.
+ $1000 monthly for paid trip home (Thursday-Monday) every 60 days
Summary:
Under the direction of the Regional VP of Construction or
President, a Project Manager is ultimately responsible for profitably managing
three areas of the electrical or technology construction projects: Manpower,
Material, and Money.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This list is not all inclusive and may be expanded to
include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from
time to time.
+ Responsible for safety and quality control of projects
+ Direct the efforts of team members to establish budgets or cost estimates for projects
+ Delegate work to Project Coordinator
+ Manage labor volume for field resources. Understand what type of resources are needed.
+ Establish project documentation and information into prescribed format and provide information to team members and stakeholders in a clear and timely fashion.
+ Draft and submit contract change proposals and manage contract and sub-contract changes where necessary due to project scope modifications.
+ Confer with field workers, owners, general contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems.
+ Submit product, material, and service data to customer for their review and approval; coordinate approved product, material, and service onto the project site for installation within project schedules.
+ Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools and track project milestones and deliverables.
+ Coordinate material delivery to the construction site
+ Manage project financials to include partial and final billing in cooperation with the Accounting department.
+ Conduct project close out and follow up to create recommendations to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements; along with best practices and tools for project execution.
+ Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the company.
+ Locate, evaluate and develop leads into project opportunities; secure project opportunities and manage customer accounts.
+ Acquire resources and coordinate the efforts of team members and third-party vendors and subcontractors in order to deliver projects according to plans and specifications.
+ Knowledge of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) activities, Job Productivity Assurance and Control (JPAC), and Short Interval Scheduling (SIS)
+ Ability to manipulate and extract data from project planning and tracking software
+ Understanding or willingness to learn Agile Construction principles
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
+ Project experience with a company in mechanical or electrical Construction market
+ Strength in people management
+ Understanding of accounting and money management
+ Knowledge of electrical materials and their purchase cost
+ Experience with low voltage systems and technology
+ Excellent communication skills and positive interactions
+ Systemic organizational skills
+ Computer skills including MS Office especially Excel
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Pleasant, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
