    Job Description

    Our client is seeking a Project Engineer to join their Offsite Manufacturing team in Seattle. This role is focused on supporting large data center projects and offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about solving problems, improving workflows, and driving project success.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and scopes of work.

    + Manage procurement, purchasing, and supply chain coordination.

    + Track project financials and support budget adherence.

    + Coordinate logistics and vendor communication to ensure timely material delivery.

    + Assist with RFIs, submittals, and schedule tracking using tools like P6 or MS Project.

    + Interpret shop drawings and support construction sequencing.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.

    + Support project managers and field teams with technical documentation and reporting.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent field experience.

    + 2–5 years of experience in construction or manufacturing environments.

    + Proficiency in Navisworks, Bluebeam, Excel, and scheduling tools (P6 or MS Project).

    + Strong understanding of construction processes including steel, heavy equipment, and general sequencing.

    + Experience with purchasing coordination and material logistics.

    + Experience working with a major mechanical subcontractor, especially in HVAC systems, is highly preferred.

    + Familiarity with budgeting, estimating, approving change orders, and cost tracking.

    Disqualifiers

    + Less than 2 years of experience in project management, engineering, or construction.

    + No experience with HVAC systems or mechanical subcontractors.

    + Lack of financial oversight experience (budgeting, estimating, change orders, cost tracking).

    + No proficiency in scheduling tools like P6 or MS Project.

    + Limited understanding of construction sequencing or shop drawings.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seattle, WA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
