Job Title: Clinic NurseJob Description

The Clinic Nurse plays a vital role in supporting patient care and clinical operations, ensuring the highest standards of healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities

+ Record patient vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes.

+ Gather comprehensive patient history and laboratory results to assist in clinical decision-making.

+ Obtain blood specimens and ensure their proper handling.

+ Support providers in developing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans.

+ Maintain accurate and timely documentation for assigned patient care.

+ Answer phone calls related to referrals and patient inquiries.

+ Schedule patient tests, procedures, hospital admissions, and follow-up appointments.

+ Perform administrative duties including typing, filing, printing, faxing, emailing, and reception tasks.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting.

+ Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.

+ Strong communication and organizational skills.

+ Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

+ Texas State Board RN license.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in oncology, hematology, or intensive care unit (ICU) settings.

+ Self-sufficient with a critical thinking mindset.

+ Knowledge of medical terminology and phlebotomy.

+ Experience with electronic health records.

Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced, requiring self-sufficiency and critical thinking. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, or until the last patient is seen, with no weekend shifts. The culture emphasizes team-building, open communication, and celebrating together. Benefits include accumulating 5 hours of PTO per pay period, a 401K with a 3% match, and two different insurance plans.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00/hr.
