    Job Title: SR Electrical Engineer

    Job Description

    We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team, where you will be involved in the full life-cycle design and development of electronic products. Your responsibilities will include requirements definition, circuit design, schematic capture, PCB layout, and potential embedded firmware development.

    Responsibilities

    + Select design components and define electronic product requirements.

    + Conduct design, schematic capture, and PCB layout.

    + Test and validate design implementation, including potential failure mode inspection analysis.

    + Develop and execute test plans to ensure parameters are met.

    + Provide engineering expertise to design and develop electronic products.

    + Collaborate with small teams or work independently to complete projects.

    + Interact with internal and external customers to ensure project alignment.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 7 years of experience in full life cycle product development.

    + Proficiency in Altium Designer is required.

    + Experience with digital and analog electronics, microcontrollers, and PCB/PCBA layout.

    + Ability to work in a team and interface with customers.

    + Experience with C programming language.

    + Experience with AC/DC systems.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience with wireless communication systems and radios or power supply.

    + Embedded firmware experience.

    + Medical device experience.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Northfield, IL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
