    Job Duties

    + Communicate daily with Manager or Supervisor to determine work schedule.

    + Train, motivate, and monitor job performance of Shop Service Technicians. Inspect repairs and planned maintenance work. Ensure safety practices. Review paperwork and timecards.

    + Confer with customers and communicate issues to branch management. Maintain good customer relations.

    + Estimate or quote repair cost.

    + Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.

    + Perform operator training.

    + Order parts and complete necessary paperwork.

    Minimum Qualifications

    + Less than 2 years related experience

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and the ability to safely operate lift trucks.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Prior company experience as a Shop or Field Service Technician.

    + Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.

    + Good written/verbal communication, customer care, organizational, and motivational skills.

    + Technical degree preferred.
