Quality Engineer

Description
Looking for an experience quality engineer, someone that has that ready now mentality. Experience working with customers and suppliers and can manage their day to day work load. Looking for this person to seek out opportunities and where they can lead quality and leadership. Will report to the quality manager.
Root cause - corrective action process (they use 8D)
Onsite quality improvements. Internal and external defect reductions. Prevention and detection. Work with a team of people and help with the prevention method at a point in the process to help out with the entire line.
Scrap and re-work. If something went wrong, find out if there's a way to re-work or does it need to be scrapped
Rolled throughput yield (monitoring the process) - figure out how may defects were generating over different processes
Primarily supporting operations, but will be Involved with New production Development projects. Figure out ways to create capacity for new product development and their production lines – outsourcing
Capability Studies, 5 Why gauge R&R, APQ, FMEA;s
Close interface with customer and suppliers with a focus on quality improvement initiatives
Working with the quality team for first article and PPAP’s
Work cross functional with all engineering and production planning
Any electronics and PCB industry experience is a plus but not required
Product and process planning and improvements
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
5+ years of experience within a quality engineering role
Experience leading root cause and corrective action and preventative action, preferably utilizing 8D methodology
Experience within the electronics and PCB industry preferred

This is a Permanent position based out of Winona, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
