    Job Title: Temporary Drafting Technician – Printmaking & Corrections

    Position Summary:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Temporary Drafting Technician to support our manufacturing operations. This role will focus on preparing, correcting, and updating print files and technical drawings to ensure accuracy and alignment with production standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in printmaking, CAD software, and document control within a manufacturing environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Review and revise technical drawings and print files for accuracy and completeness.

    + Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure prints meet manufacturing specifications.

    + Make corrections to existing drawings based on feedback or design changes.

    + Prepare and format print files for production use, ensuring clarity and consistency.

    + Maintain organized records of revisions and version control.

    + Assist in converting hand-drawn sketches or outdated prints into digital formats.

    + Support document control processes and ensure compliance with internal standards.

    Qualifications:

    + Associate degree or technical certification in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

    + Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).

    + Familiarity with printmaking processes and manufacturing documentation.

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies or errors.

    + Excellent organizational and communication skills.

    + Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

    + Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

    + Familiarity with ERP or document management systems.

    This is a Contract position based out of Turners Falls, MA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
