We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Test Engineer to ensure product reliability by devising testing plans, methods, and equipment in conjunction with product design and specifications. The successful candidate will participate in engineering design reviews and drive failure analysis efforts.
Responsibilities
+ Devises testing plans, methods, and equipment to assure the reliability of products in conjunction with product design and specifications.
+ Participates in engineering design review efforts.
+ Produces reports on each test activity and tracks test metrics.
+ Drives failure analysis efforts, including all documentation, technical analysis, instruction, management briefing, and customer interaction.
+ Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in engineering and electronics.
+ Experience with test equipment and PCB electronic testing.
+ Ability to troubleshoot PCB and electrical components.
+ Familiarity with schematic reading, oscilloscopes, and soldering.
+ Capability to work with blueprints, prototypes, work instructions, and test procedures.
+ Knowledge of electromechanical systems, aerospace, debugging, and circuit boards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Strong analytical and technical skills.
+ Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
+ Experience in managing and briefing technical teams.
+ Ability to interact effectively with customers.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $45.00/hr.
