Job Title: Software EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join a well-established team dedicated to the development and sustainment of the Open Systems Architecture Simulation Framework (OSF) under the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). The candidate will contribute to the OSF lifecycle of software development efforts, including development, integration, and deployment for MDA test and analysis efforts with real-time hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) systems and tactical software.

Responsibilities

+ Support the development and sustainment of the Open Systems Architecture Simulation Framework (OSF).

+ Participate in the software development lifecycle, including integration and deployment for MDA test and analysis efforts.

+ Work with real-time hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) systems and tactical software.

+ Enhance understanding of the missile defense system and how each element is integrated into OSF for MDA ground test campaigns.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Physics, or Math from an accredited institution.

+ 5-20 years of experience in software engineering.

+ Strong programming skills in C++.

+ Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

+ Active Secret security clearance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with DevSecOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), and scrum/agile software development.

+ Experience with MDA HWIL test and analysis and simulation frameworks.

+ Working knowledge of missile defense architecture, including radars, fire control systems, launchers, and messaging protocols.

Work Environment

The position involves working on-site with the customer in a cleared environment, embedded with the prime and other contractors. The work supports the future needs of the MDA and Golden Dome projects. This is a Permanent position based out of Huntsville, AL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
