    Production Associate

    **Shifts Available:** 1st and 2nd Shift

    **Team Size:** ~33 Associates

    **Environment:** Air-conditioned, fast-paced production facility

     

    About the Role

     

    We’re seeking a detail-oriented **Kettle Technician** to join our production team in crafting premium hot sauces. In this role, you’ll be responsible for operating large kettles, monitoring cooking processes, and ensuring each batch meets our quality standards. You’ll work closely with supervisors and teammates to maintain a smooth and efficient production flow.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Operate and monitor kettles used for cooking sauces

    + Load ingredients into kettles according to recipe specifications

    + Use computer systems to verify cooking instructions and ingredient lists

    + Ensure proper temperature and timing for each batch

    + Lift and handle ingredients weighing **30–50 lbs** regularly

    + Clean kettles and surrounding work areas between batches

    + Prepare for upcoming runs and manage downtime effectively

    + Communicate with team members to coordinate production flow

    What You’ll Need

    + Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (lifting 30–50 lbs)

    + Experience in food production or general manufacturing

    + Basic computer skills for recipe tracking and equipment monitoring

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

    + Reliable work history and consistent attendance

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Comfortable working in a food production setting with strong odors (vegetables, vinegar, spices)

    + Previous experience on overnight shifts

    + Willingness to work overtime and occasional Saturdays

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Marcos, TX.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
