    Pay: $19-$24 an hour

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Quality Inspector where you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our electrical and electronic systems. Your expertise in inspecting boards and components using various testing equipment will be highly valued. This role requires a keen eye for detail and proficiency in interpreting schematic drawings and blueprints.

    Responsibilities

    + Inspect electrical or electronic systems, support structures, components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings using rivets, bolts, soldering, or micro-welding equipment.

    + Adjust, repair, or replace electrical or electronic components to correct defects and ensure conformance to specifications.

    + Clean parts using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths.

    + Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.

    + Position, align, or adjust workpieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly.

    + Confer with supervisors to plan or review work activities or to resolve production problems.

    + Explain assembly procedures or techniques to other workers.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in the use of oscilloscopes, voltmeters, analyzers, and other electrical testing equipment.

    + Strong skills in assembly, electronics, and electrical inspection.

    + Ability to perform mechanical troubleshooting and quality inspection.

    + Experience with hand tools, testing circuits, and using calipers.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Trade School Certification.

    + 1+ years of experience in component level troubleshooting and repair of analog and digital circuits.

    + Preferred but not required: AS Degree in Electrical or Electronics.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wappingers Falls, NY.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
