    Job Title: Field Technician

    Job Description

    As a Field Technician, you will collaborate with teams to construct concrete structures within industrial facilities. Your duties will involve working alongside skilled workers to build forms, pour concrete, and perform bricklaying. You will use various tools such as trowels, levels, mixers, floats, hammers, and screwdrivers. The workday typically includes the tear-out and replacement of high-temperature concrete furnace linings using state-of-the-art, mechanized equipment. This role requires proficiency in masonry, welding, carpentry, and insulating, applying craftsman techniques according to specifications and industry best practices. This position offers the opportunity to develop a diverse skill set, making you a jack of all trades.

    Responsibilities

    + Collaborate with teams to construct concrete structures in industrial facilities.

    + Work with skilled workers to build forms, pour concrete, and perform bricklaying.

    + Utilize tools such as trowels, levels, mixers, floats, hammers, and screwdrivers.

    + Conduct demolition using mechanized equipment like BROKK or excavators.

    + Apply masonry, welding, carpentry, and insulating skills using craftsman techniques.

    + Participate in the tear-out and replacement of high-temperature concrete furnace linings.

    Essential Skills

    + Previous experience in heavy industrial or commercial construction.

    + Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly and work on your feet for 8+ hours a day.

    + Valid driver's license and ability to commute to job sites.

    + Proficiency in masonry, concrete, carpentry, general labor, and welding.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in form building and bricklaying.

    + Familiarity with industrial construction projects.

    Work Environment

The work involves a large contract with industrial facilities, offering a dynamic and hands-on environment.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of Syracuse, NY.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
