    Job Title: Robotics Technician

    Job Description

    As a Robotics Technician, you will be responsible for performing repairs and upgrades on robots returned from the field. This role requires a strong electro-mechanical aptitude, as you will engage in electrical wiring and mechanical work on the robots. You will be upgrading and troubleshooting to ensure the parts and repairs are functioning correctly.

    Responsibilities

    + Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair damaged robots and equipment.

    + Conduct mechanical assembly and troubleshooting.

    + Assist in the development and selection of diagnostic tests and troubleshooting tools, devices, and fixtures.

    + Assist with the development of test procedures and maintain good housekeeping of tools, equipment, and repair area.

    + Develop proposals for equipment purchase, maintenance, and operation instructions.

    Essential Skills

    + 5+ years of experience with mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly and troubleshooting.

    + Ability to read blueprints and complex mechanical drawings.

    + Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

    + Proficient in troubleshooting electrical issues in robots.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 4 or more years of mechanical assembly experience.

    + Experience as a technician in mechanical or electrical fields is required.

    + Automotive knowledge is a plus.

    + Self-motivated and highly organized.

    + Ability to lift 35 pounds and stand for long periods.

    + Understanding of various types of mechanical and/or electrical test equipment.

    + Able to read and interpret specifications, wiring diagrams, and part prints.
