Job Title: Aviation Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Aviation Technician to join our team at the ORD location. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with two flights a day, primarily working on ERJ 135 and 145 aircraft. The role involves performing basic line maintenance when flights arrive, ensuring all tasks are conducted according to technical data, manufacturer's instructions, and FAA standards.
Responsibilities
+ Perform maintenance and alteration tasks in accordance with current technical data, manufacturer's instructions, service bulletins, and FAA-approved data.
+ Ensure all aircraft maintenance records comply with Federal Aviation regulations.
+ Handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize projects effectively.
+ Read documents, follow instructions, and understand procedures, rules, and regulations, including federal and local security regulations.
+ Navigate electronic maintenance manuals, interpret FAA guidance, and airworthiness directives.
+ Complete all paperwork in accordance with company policy and FAA standards.
Essential Skills
+ A&P License
+ At least 3 years of experience with ERJ 135 or 145 aircraft
+ Experience in aircraft repair and maintenance
Work Environment
This position is based at the ORD location, with a schedule of Wednesday to Saturday on a rotating basis. Working hours are from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, and you will be provided with a van equipped with tools. Working Wednesday -Saturday 4 on, 3 on, 3 on, 4 on. You are guaranteed pay for 40 hours per week and must be available when flights arrive.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $44.00/hr.
