Job Title: PLC Technician
Job Description
The primary responsibility of this role is to perform maintenance, PLC, and electrical troubleshooting to support a variety of machinery and conveyors in the plant. This includes any and all electrical troubleshooting such as lighting for the facility. The position involves working with a variety of PLCs and is currently scheduled for a day shift from 6am to 6pm with a rotating schedule (3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off).
Responsibilities
+ Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting of PLC systems and electrical components to support plant machinery and conveyors.
+ Perform electrical troubleshooting for facility systems including lighting and other electrical elements.
+ Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems and equipment, including conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems.
+ Conduct preventive maintenance on hydraulic pumps, photoeyes, sensors, relays, box switches, control panels, and drives.
Essential Skills
+ Strong instrumentation and electrical skills with experience in PLC and Relay Logic troubleshooting.
+ Basic electrical troubleshooting and repair experience.
+ Experience with 480V industrial maintenance.
+ Capability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Preferred experience as an Industrial Electrician with PLC knowledge.
+ Open to Maintenance Technicians with electrical troubleshooting experience (up to 240/480V).
+ Target of 5+ years of experience, with consideration for less on a case-by-case basis.
+ Understanding of mechanical troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair is strongly preferred.

Work Environment
This position is within a manufacturing environment and operates during the day shift. Expect to work over 50 hours per week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richland, MS.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $41.00/hr.
