Description We are looking for an experienced Commercial Litigation Associate to join our dynamic legal team in Clayton, Missouri. Our firm is dedicated to providing exceptional representation in complex business disputes, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and achieving outstanding results for our clients. This role offers the opportunity to manage challenging cases, work alongside experienced attorneys, and play a key role in delivering high-quality legal solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee commercial litigation cases from initial filing through resolution, ensuring thorough case management.

• Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.

• Handle all aspects of discovery, including drafting requests, responding to discovery demands, and conducting depositions.

• Represent clients effectively in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and other dispute resolution proceedings.

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategic approaches to complex litigation matters.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing timely updates and detail-oriented guidance.

• Advocate for clients in court by preparing and arguing motions.

• Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations relevant to commercial litigation.

• Contribute to the firm’s growth through active participation in business development initiatives. Requirements • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

• Active license to practice law in Missouri.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial litigation, including discovery and motion practice.

• Proficiency in legal research, writing, and analytical reasoning.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines efficiently.

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

• Experience in depositions and arguing motions in court.
