Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

Join a leading manufacturer of twisted wire brushes, including medical, cosmetic, and gun-blazing brushes. We are experiencing significant growth and are seeking dedicated production associates to become a part of our expanding team. You will have the opportunity to cross-train in both manual and automated areas, contributing to a dynamic and innovative production environment.

Responsibilities

+ Load machines with material for threading.

+ Fill and assemble orders based on customer specifications.

+ Set up and adjust machinery and equipment according to specifications.

+ Operate and monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.

+ Conduct product inspections and tests to verify machine settings, safety, and product quality.

+ Communicate quality issues or machinery needing maintenance attention.

Essential Skills

+ Consistent work history.

+ Reliability and comfort working in a manufacturing environment.

+ Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

+ Capability to move around the production floor and sit or stand for an entire shift.

+ Effective communication skills with other employees.

+ High school diploma or GED.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Prior machine operating experience or mechanical skills for higher wage candidates.

+ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and write simple correspondence.

+ Strong math skills, including the ability to add, multiply, and divide, and work with fractions and decimals.

+ Experience with documentation and paperwork.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Palmer, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $22.00/hr.
