    Job Title: Freight Shipping Clerk

    Job Description

    The Freight Shipping Clerk will be responsible for coordinating and managing all outgoing product shipments. This role involves ensuring accurate information is exchanged between FedEx Freight Manager and the internal system, entering and verifying delivery addresses, and determining shipping costs by coordinating dimensions and weights of pallets.

    Responsibilities

    + Coordinate outgoing shipments and ensure all information is accurate between FedEx Freight Manager and internal systems.

    + Enter and verify delivery addresses, dimensions, and weights of pallets to coordinate shipping costs.

    + Package products and lift items weighing up to 40 lbs.

    + Create labels for FedEx shipping and freight.

    + Shrink wrap and/or band pallets.

    + Assist with kitting, unloading containers, and picking duties as needed.

    + Work with the warehouse management system to perform bin transfers.

    + Pick products using a push cart and scan them into the system.

    + Pack and label products for shipping.

    + Assist with receiving products once trained.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of freight shipping experience.

    + Proficiency in FedEx Freight Manager.

    + Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with shipping and receiving.

    + Knowledge of FedEx, UPS, freight management, and inventory control.

    + Familiarity with SAP and cycle counts.

    The role is based in a temperature-controlled, organized warehouse environment with working hours from 8 am to 4:30 pm.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, MN.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
