    Overview

     

    We are hiring a Machine Assembler to join our team in Elgin, IL. This role involves assembling complex mechanical systems and fluid components—including pneumatic, hydraulic, and coolant systems—based on detailed production drawings and technical schematics. The position supports cross-functional collaboration, build documentation, and project forecasting.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble mechanical systems per customer specifications and production drawings

    + Connect and integrate pneumatic, hydraulic, and coolant systems

    + Interpret technical schematics for assembly and wiring tasks

    + Estimate timelines to support quoting and planning

    + Document build steps for diagnostics and future reference

    + Collaborate with assembly teams and project stakeholders

    + Archive project data to improve forecasting and customer support

    + Review completed builds to refine delivery accuracy

    Required Qualifications

    + Proficiency in mechanical assembly and blueprint reading

    + Skilled in hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement instruments

    + Experience with wiring and soldering based on schematics

    + Familiarity with electrical assembly and fluid system integration

    Work Environment

    + Clean, temperature-controlled, and well-lit facility

    + Facility also serves as a showroom for precision projects

    + Individual workstations designed for comfort and efficiency

    + Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr.
