    Job Title: 1st Shift Production Scheduler- up to $80k

     

    

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Production Scheduler responsible for creating and adjusting production schedules within an ERP system. This role involves daily schedule adjustments and close collaboration with various departments to ensure smooth operations.

    Responsibilities

    + Create and adjust production schedules in an ERP system daily.

    + Communicate and collaborate with various departments, attending in-person and virtual meetings, and using email for coordination.

    + Distribute production schedules to supervisors at the beginning of the first and second shifts.

    + Utilize Microsoft Office, primarily Excel and Outlook, for data input and communication.

    + Monitor inventory levels and report any issues to the production team.

    + Issue die change schedules and forecast schedules for 4-12 weeks ahead.

    + Adapt to rapid changes and maintain a 'go with the flow' mindset.

    + Demonstrate strong analytical skills and proficiency with numbers.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 1 year of production scheduling experience.

    + Experience working with an ERP system, specifically QAD.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

    + Strong presentation skills for team meetings.

    + Excellent numerical and analytical skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in automotive manufacturing is preferred.

    + Understanding of supply chain, inventory, and logistics management.

    + Familiarity with SAP, MRP, and purchasing processes.

    Work Environment

     

    This is a day shift position with flexible hours ranging from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday work required. The facility operates in a large Tier 1 automotive manufacturing environment, which can be hot and has a fiberglass production atmosphere. The company produces automotive parts for major clients including Stellantis, Mercury Marine, Ford, and others. The facility is unionized, but this salaried position is non-union.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $60500.00 - $80000.00/yr.
