Hiring Scheduler/Shipping Coordinator

18-22/HR 1st shift

Job Description

In this role, you will perform daily activities for the Order Processing Operation, ensuring customer order fulfillment and managing build schedules for manufacturing. You will prepare shipment paperwork, coordinate with production teams, assist customer service with resolving issues, and perform general administrative functions. Collaborating with sales and product management, you will develop forecasts for long-range material planning. Your role will also involve working with logistics providers, sales, and customers on final mile deliveries and special handling requirements.

Responsibilities

+ Process sales orders through Syspro.

+ Review orders for build compliance.

+ Review presentation and approval drawings.

+ Input order information onto the build schedule.

+ Process shipping documents for unit orders.

+ Work closely with freight companies.

+ Handle freight issues, file claims, and manage shipping and receiving logistics.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

+ 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing production planning.

+ Knowledge of shipping orders, specifically Bills of Lading (BOL).

+ Familiarity with production processes, schedules, logistics, quality control, and raw materials.

+ Detail-oriented and accurate with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

+ Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

+ Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ APICS Certification is preferred.

+ Experience in material analysis.

+ Ability to read and understand CAD drawings on unit orders.

+ Knowledge of logistics planning software.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raymore, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
