    **Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (occasional Saturdays, early starts possible)

    We’re looking for a **Heavy Equipment Mechanic** to maintain and repair essential yard equipment like cranes, forklifts, and balers. If you thrive in a dynamic outdoor environment and have strong mechanical skills, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.

    What You’ll Do

    + Maintain and repair yard equipment including cranes, forklifts, balers, and trucks (KW).

    + Diagnose and fix issues with hydraulics, transmissions, brakes, and power steering.

    + Replace hoses, seals, and grapples; address leaks and perform preventive maintenance.

    + Collaborate with the Operations Manager to meet project deadlines.

    + Focus on hands-on mechanical work with minimal paperwork.

    What You Bring

    + **5+ years** of experience in heavy equipment maintenance.

    + Strong mechanical aptitude across electrical, hydraulic, welding, and diesel systems.

    + Proven experience with forklift and crane repair.

    + Welding and torch cutting skills are a plus.

    + Familiarity with SAP and fabrication is a bonus.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, FL.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
