Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to lead our maintenance shop, filling a crucial role due to an employee departure. The ideal candidate will have robust experience in mechanical maintenance, with additional skills in electrical work being an advantage. Experience in the plastics industry and a strong focus on preventative maintenance are essential.
Responsibilities
+ Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all machinery and equipment.
+ Conduct machine teardown and rebuild as necessary.
+ Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues, particularly in pneumatics and hydraulics.
+ Maintain and repair paint lines and conveyors.
+ Read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting electrical issues.
Essential Skills
+ Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, with at least 5 years in the field.
+ Experience in the plastics industry.
+ Strong skills in pneumatics and hydraulics.
+ Ability to perform preventative maintenance and machine rebuilds.
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with electrical work and troubleshooting.
+ Familiarity with conveyor maintenance and repair.
+ Ability to read and interpret schematics.

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
