Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join a hospitality team in New York, NY. This contract position offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of a luxury hotel, ensuring smooth and efficient accounts receivable processes. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in financial management and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and cash applications.

• Coordinate with clients and customers to resolve billing inquiries and ensure timely payments.

• Reconcile customer accounts to maintain accurate financial records.

• Prepare and post journal entries as needed to support financial reporting.

• Handle email correspondence with clients and internal teams regarding payment and billing issues.

• Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all financial activities.

• Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite and Concur to manage financial transactions.

• Analyze and resolve discrepancies in accounts receivable records.

• Provide exceptional customer service while addressing payment concerns or disputes. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles.

• Proficiency in accounts receivable functions, including collections and cash applications.

• Strong skills in account reconciliation and journal entries.

• Familiarity with accounting software, preferably NetSuite and Concur.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for managing customer correspondence.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.

• Experience in commercial billing and collections is highly desirable.
