The Role

This is a high-impact leadership position within the firm’s Management Company Finance Team. Depending on your background, the title may range from Manager to Assistant Controller or Controller. You’ll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations, driving process improvements, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

+ Manage general ledger, accounts payable, financial reporting, and FP& A

+ Prepare global consolidated budgets and quarterly forecasts with variance analysis

+ Oversee expense allocations across entities and automate allocation processes

+ Lead selection and implementation of new accounting and FP& A systems

+ Improve AP/AR workflows through outsourcing or tech solutions

+ Communicate cross-functionally with a commercial mindset and business acumen

+ Balance budget discipline with operational flexibility

Requirements

Ideal Candidate Profile

+ 5–10+ years of accounting experience, ideally in venture capital, private equity, or adjacent industries

+ CPA or equivalent certification preferred

+ Strong grasp of GAAP and full-cycle operational accounting

+ Proven experience with budgeting, reporting, and analytics

+ Skilled in system implementation, invoice management, and process documentation

+ Excellent communication skills and ability to manage up and across teams

+ Detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized
